Frequency Live
Your frequency, live on screen.
Coming soon to the App Store
A free iPhone app that shows the exact frequency of your singing bowls, gongs, voice or instruments on screen — with the musical note, tempo, and chakra and Solfeggio matches — so your audience can see the sound as well as hear it, live or on video.
Go live, or record a video
- On the Camera, add the stickers you want (Hz, Note, Chakra…) and drag them into place.
- Tap Live Mode. The buttons disappear, leaving just you and the live frequency.
- Open Control Centre and press and hold Screen Recording.
- Choose your live app to go live — or Photos to record a video. Turn the microphone on and tap Start. Double-tap the screen to leave Live Mode.
Or show it in your shot
Open Frequency Live on a second phone or an iPad, go to the Live tab and tap Fullscreen for a giant frequency display. Prop it up where the camera you’re streaming from can see it — this works alongside every live app.
Help
The frequency just shows “— Hz”
The app can’t hear anything. Make sure the microphone is allowed: iPhone Settings → Frequency Live → Microphone. Very quiet sounds are ignored on purpose so the readout doesn’t jump around in silence — you can lower the Silence threshold in the app’s Settings.
I can’t find the Screen Recording button
Add it to Control Centre: iPhone Settings → Control Centre, then add Screen Recording.
My live app isn’t in the Screen Recording list
Only live apps that support iPhone screen broadcasting appear there. If yours doesn’t, use the second way: put Frequency Live in Fullscreen on another phone or iPad and place it in your shot. That works with every live app.
How accurate is it?
On a steady tone it reads to within about 0.2 Hz. A singing bowl rings with several tones at once — Frequency Live shows the strongest one, which is usually the note you hear.
What do the chakra and Solfeggio matches mean?
They show the traditional sound-healing associations for the frequency you’re playing. They are not medical or diagnostic measurements. You can turn them off in the app’s Settings.
Is my audio recorded or uploaded?
No. Everything is analysed on your phone and nothing is collected. See the privacy policy.
